Claire Best Handmade Shoes is a business dedicated to slow fashion and high quality workmanship. Claire Best is a shoe maker based in Melbourne, Australia. Her footwear is designed and made by hand, with an emphasis on quality materials, craftsmanship, contemporary design and innovation.  All aspects of production take place in her Brunswick workshop, and each pair of shoes are made to order.

Please refer to the size chart below as an approximate guide when placing your order.  We can offer more detailed advice if you’re not sure, especially with fitted boot styles. In some cases it will be required to provide your foot and ankle measurements.
